CURRENT ELECTRICITY|Physics

This is an arrangement of conductors for the purpose of transferring current. It may consist of a cell connected by a low resistance wire (e.g,Cu) to a resistor. The cell provides the e.m.f/pd which drives the current through the circuit component.
 Note: (i)Current, measured in ampere (A)and represented by I.

          (ii)Electromotive force (e.m.f.)and potential difference both measured in volts (V).

           (iii)Resistance measured in ohms .

From the definition of current, we have; I=Q/t   {Q=It}

Where I =current in ampere

           Q=quantity of electric charge in coulomb

            t=time in second.

OHM'S LAW

The law states that the current passing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential diffent between its ends,provided the temperature remains constants.
